Successful Safety Compliance Audit - Siyakhula (Hodgson’s)
Siyakhula Forestry Contractors Hodgson’s team underwent their second Safety Compliance Audit with Sappi on the 28th of March 2023. The auditor assessed the company’s safety systems, where she verified the company’s safety documentation versus processes and procedures undertaken infield. The audit was a great success and Hodgson’s team attained a score of 97%, an improvement of 3% from 2022 result.
Siyakhula (Tygerskloof ) Safety Induction
Siyakhula Forestry Contractors (Tygerskloof) had their annual safety induction on the 22nd of March 2023. The induction aimed at building a safe working environment and culture through creating awareness on zero harm, zero injuries initiative. The topics covered were 5 top risks, staff quarters hygiene and issues around environment, health and safety. The employees who participated committed themselves to creating a happy and safe working environment for all.
Pheleka’s Farewell
Siyakhula & Arbor Care team at Tygerskloof hosted a farewell lunch for Pheleka Kumkati on the 25th of April 2023. Pheleka joined the group in August 2021 and has been a valued member of staff. The directors were present to wish her all the success in her new endeavors.
